Endling

from Ethos by Bastards

/

lyrics

I am misery, and this time it's going to be different.
I swear, different I know it.
I've made all the right choices.
But I stand here, with it all to bare.
My skin, separated from the bone.
My chest wide open.
I will die by these words. Until my heart stops.
I am misery, waiting for the light to take me.
I am misery, waiting for the rust to catch me.

The closure letter:

I'm sorry, I was just weary. I didn't think anyone could love me.
I was scared and lonely. I just needed the best for me. Now, I wait forever, until the light takes me. I am misery, waiting for the rust to catch
me. I grew old, I remember my young years, begging for my life to be over. I've waited, now I'm there. I'm gone, and I was misery.

Sincerely.
