Grave Rusting

from Ethos by Bastards

/

lyrics

When I left you at the grave, I left what was the better part of me.
I wont say this, you are the witness.
When I left you at the grave, I left what was the best part of me.
I'll just wait forever then, I'll just wait until time takes me,
or until the rust gets the best of me.
You were my friend when I didn't have one.
It was you that understood, but that's just how it goes.
I'm talking to a ghost.
At my worst, I just close my eyes.
At my worst, I sink, tied to the weight. And I'll just wait (at the bottom).
I'll just wait forever then, I'll just wait until time takes me,
or until the rest gets the best of me.
