The Trapped Wolf Will

from Ethos by Bastards

/

lyrics

Picking up the pieces of failed relationships, you look toward religion,
to pick you up from the grounds of desolation.
You'll struggle from here on out, struggle for now.
You'll struggle from here on out, struggle from now on.
You keep me at a distance, seems to be no other way.
You won't understand, just walk away.
I know they're talking, it's what keeps the silence golden.
I have the will, I find a way, to save these kids from not dreaming.
Wither and fall, pray and feel the squeeze.
You can twist and break my body, long live the heart.
Twist and break my body, long live my heart.
Let the life drain from me, until the squeeze breaks my body.
